Are You Bonded and Insured?

Yes! We are bonded and insured by the Business Insurers of the Carolinas. We are able to provide proof of this at our initial meeting. We are also proud members of Pet Sitters International and a contributing member of the Delaware County SPCA.

Do You Charge For Introductory Meetings

We provide an introductory meetings for free. The first meeting is to discuss your pet care needs and to insure that our services are a good match for your household. During this visit we will have you fill out paperwork, provide us with 2 keys or another way to enter your home and any other details we need in order to care for your home and your pets. If you require more meetings, or an additional meeting before a future trip there will be an $10.00 extra charge .

Do I Really need a Dog Walker/Pet Sitter?

Most adult dogs could last the day without a walk,but studies do show that daily walks will prevent urinary tract infections and behavior problems. One main goal of having a schedule daily walk will be to provide the proper exercise that every dog should have and the end result will be a tired happy dog.

Do You Charge Extra For Additional Dogs

Our service will always cover up to two dogs. If you require that each dog is walked separately or if there is an additional dog, there will be additional charge of $2.00 per visit.

When I Am On vacation, How Many Pet Sits Do I Need?

The number of visits will depend on the routine that you have set. Most cats do well with one visit but we do have clients that require two visits for their cats. We require a least two visits for dogs per day. We do recommend at least three visits per day or an overnight stay for dogs.

Can I schedule Last Minute Visits

If you are new client contact us for availability. In case of a medical or family emergency we will make every attempt to help. But we ask that you provide us with a fair warning if possible. We do understand that emergency are un-predictable.

What Kind of Payments Do You Accept?

Currently cash and check payments are being offered. All checks should be date with the current date. And made payable to Delco Pet Care. To avoid any additional charges: <ul> <li>NSF checks will occur a $35.00 fee.</li> <li>Checks that are rejected by the bank for any other reason (post-dated,missing signature, ect) are subject to a $15.00 fee</li> </ul>

When Do I Pay For The Services Performed?

So that we can focus on what we do best….caring for your pets! Payment for service will be due for all scheduled visits no later than the first day of service begins. For existing clients we can collect payments at the conclusion of the services provided after a payment history has been established.
